Performance Tracking Inc. Investment Management. Tracking the performance of professional investment managers.
Management
The Performance Tracking investment process was created as a tool to screen the thousands of no-load mutual funds and Exchange Traded Indexes that are available to every investor. I track managers in a wide range of market sectors worldwide and diversify portfolios into both growth and income producing investments. Since foreign equity markets are now larger than the U.S. equity market international diversification is an important part of all portfolios. Every month I update the current facts from Morningstar’s database into my independent research to search for managers or indexes that have the best combination of consistently strong performance and low operating expenses.

Every portfolio I manage is unique and not simply a model where an investor is plugged into one of several choices. Since each portfolio is individually managed I can adjust the diversification at anytime based on changes in an investor’s circumstances, objectives or market concerns. There is never a Performance Tracking surrender charge or an upfront commission to lock in investors, so every client is free to withdraw their funds at any time, for any reason subject to any IRS penalty for retirement plan withdrawals and any short term trading fees applied directly by an individual fund.

I believe it is impossible to consistently predict short term market swings so all accounts will be fully invested unless a significant cash position is specifically requested by the investor. My monthly Performance Tracking Rankings are the foundation of the Performance Tracking investment strategy. Based on this proprietary research, investor accounts are diversified into different market sectors as broadly as possible subject to the client’s objectives and the size of their investment. Positions are sold and automatically upgraded into stronger funds as required by changes in these rankings. Current ranking are fully disclosed to each investor on their monthly “Investment Summary”.

The first step in the management process is to determine an overall allocation percentage between equity investments (stocks) and income producing investments (bonds) based on each investors personal objectives and tolerance for market volatility. Then, within these broad categories, investments are further diversified by investment chacteristics such as international or domestic stocks; growth, emerging market or value companies, and short, intermediate or longer term bonds. Finally, specific managers are selected by comparing every manager within each market sector with every other manager for a number of key investment guidelines including net performance for investors over different time periods, portfolio operating expenses and independent research.
