I believe that the combination of the following facts make my practice unique and give me the freedom to treat investors fairly.
As an independent advisor I am not restricted by any fee sharing arrangements of a parent company that would prohibit me from recommending the most effective low cost investments that I can find.
I do not have any corporate pressure to recommend in-house funds or other proprietary investment products because they are more profitable for the firm.
I do not have a vested interest in recommending any fund or fund family, I do not have production quotas, I do not receive sales commissions and I do not receive any type of bonus if I sell more of a specific product.
I am free to “Cap” my management fee rather than being required to charge a high, “Unrestricted Fee” on the value of the entire portfolio.
I am free to exclude the value assets managed by the investor from the management fee.
I send detailed performance reports to investors monthly not quarterly like most advisors. These reports include the research and key facts that investors need to understand exactly why positions are bought or sold.
I fully disclose my business practices, fees and investment strategy in writing.
